Sweep rider: Last through every junction; confirms all riders through.
Regroup rule: Every 30–60 min or any complex junction / town centre.
ACT days: Navigate by GPX track in OsmAnd — no auto-recalculate.
Road days: Use Google Maps link for exact road routing, GPX for shaping.
Emergency: Agree on a single group WhatsApp channel before Day 0.

📷 Must-do & photo stops
- Longest ACT day — early KSU is essential.
- Lunch max 35 minutes; hydrate consistently every hour.
- Douro gorge viewpoints approaching Miranda — dramatic river canyon.
- Miranda do Douro old town (15 min stretch + local food).
⚠ Hardest day of the trip. Rotate lead and sweep. Do not split the group after dark.

- Leave Faro in good time — no long stops.
- Ayamonte: quick fuel if needed.
- Vejer de la Frontera visible from the N-340 (do not detour unless >45 min ahead).
- Mirador del Estrecho (~6 km before Tarifa): Morocco visible across the Strait — perfect final photo.
- TARGET: Tarifa port check-in by 14:00 for 15:00 sailing.
